Re: G'day from Celine
Thanks Celine for joining us - what a wonderful introduction.
Like you said - I think it's very important to always be open to new philosophies - and this is why it is even more important to be tolerant of everyone elses beliefs- the one thing I wish for on this earth. Like you said "Each to their Own".
If we weren't open, we would never have got to CwG, and if we stop there and think "Oh! that's it, I need nothing else" - then we might not find something that lifts us even higher in the future.
It's so nice that you had the smile on your face - what a beautiful gift - happiness! I have had moments like that when reading CwG.
Have you got book 2? I have a feeling you would like it - it's more about the political / environmental issues etc in the world today.
I had a quick look at your site - I love the cat drawings. Soooo cute!
Well, betta go get ready for work.

G'day from Celine
Hello. I first heard of Conversations with God some years ago, but I shied away from it then, and I kind of think the reason was that I was not spiritually ready for Neale's messages back then. Then a few weeks before my birthday this year, on 14th September, my partner and I watched the movie dramatising Neale's personal journey and his writing of the book. After that, I solemnly announced to my boy-friend, that I would like to read the book sometime or other. Lo and Behold, on my birthday, he presented me with the book, which I joyously and gratefully accepted.
Now, I am up to chapter 3 page 71, and I can say that this book has already had a life-changing effect upon me. Now I must also say that I like to say "I act as if ... " e.g. I act as if I am a human being etc. or even "I act as if there are aliens" etc. but I am always open to new interpretations, and to not holding any beliefs at all, but rather just trying to be AWARENESS. In other words, I have heard some say CWG may just be another view-point and not the "truth".
Well, I know that reading as much as I have already read of the book, changed my psyche and/or my spiritual/emotional Self, because when I was at work that week, all of a sudden I could not stop smiling. I had the biggest smile on my face (and this was in the morning too, not just before lunch-time or home-time, LOL), and I knew that it was because reading the book had triggered "something" in me. Perhaps that something was an awareness of the love that the Creator is expressing through us, which I realise exists as me, as much as anything else.
I am so delighted that I met Glenda and found this forum, and I thank you, Glenda, for setting up this forum. Although I am far away physcially from Shoalhaven, I am with you all spiritually. I cannot say much about myself personally, for that would take too long, but if you would like to use Internet Explorer to browse through my personal web-site, url below, then I am sure it will tell you something about me! I am sorry it is not very legible using other browsers, but I hastily put it together myself without much ado, before the Iraq invasion in 2003, having had only one day of training using HTML and two days training in using Microsoft Front Page.
I also waved around a poster at the train station back then, the poster saying "Don't send troops to Iraq" and a disagree-able onlooker marched up to me, and said angrily to me, "You're mad". Well, I looked him squarely in the eyes and I solemnly said to him, "Each to their own".
Haha.
