Introduction from Glenda (Admin)

Hi all

A little about me and what inspired me to start this forum:-

After growing up christian, I have been studying different religions on and off all my life - hindu, buddhism, vedism, witchcraft etc

Most recently I turned 30 and had a bit of an early mid-life crisis - where am I going, what am I doing? I've got married, had a kid, have a good job - what am I supposed to do now?

That's when I came back to God. Mostly through the eastern philosophies.

One of my workmates told me about Conversations with God - and I've wanted to get them ever since, and they finally arrived (ordered them from America - it was cheaper) a while ago. I have now ordered another 5 of his books and they should be here soon.

I have read book 1 and am now halfway through book 2 and I have to say - I'm in love - everything I've ever studied or known makes so much sense now and in such a simpler explanation (I'm remembering!). Profound, yet simple.

A week ago I borrowed "Home with God" from the library and was so enthralled that I finished it by Monday morning. I have so much grattitude that Neil went through with his conversations and is getting the message out to the world. I know some people read the books as just a new age help message, but I believe in God and always have in different ways, so to me I fully believe that it really is "God" and not just a good story and advice.

For a while now, I've felt a kind of calling to get some sort of spiritual group or something happening in my area. Before I start a "face to face" group, I feel I need to do a bit more reading of the books and study a bit more of all the websites etc etc and get myself ready.

So, here is my online group and looking forward to meeting others who are also "remembering" and getting my "real life" group up and running.
